Steamed Spareribs

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kilo spareribs (cut into 1 1/2 inch cube)
  • 3 tablespoon chili bean sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon washed tausi
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Vino de Estrella
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion (as garnish)
PROCEDURE
  1. Rinse spareribs and drain well. 
  2. Saute garlic in oil. 
  3. Add pork and the rest of the ingredients except for cornstarch and green onions. 
  4. Marinate for 30 minutes. 
  5. Steam over high heat for 30 minutes or until meat is tender
  6. Thicken with cornstarch dispersed in water.
  7. Put in a bowl and garnish with green onions.
  8. Serve while hot.
