Fried Chicken

INGREDIENTS
- 1 kilo chicken (we prefer thigh and leg part)
- 2 tablespoons lemon or calamansi juice
- 2 tablespoons Knorr seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon iodized salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- flour
- Canola oil
PROCEDURE
- In a container, combine lemon or calamansi juice, Knorr seasoning, salt and pepper.
- Add chicken and mix.
- In a bowl, beat 1 egg and 1/4 cup buttermilk. Add in chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, dip chicken in mixture of 1 egg and 1/4 cup buttermilk again.
- Coat in flour
- Deep fry for 7-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drain in paper towel and serve.
