Chicken Adobo

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 K chicken (chopped, we prefer thigh and leg part)
  • 1 garlic head
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon whole peppercorn
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup of vinegar
  • 1/2 cup of oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 potatoes sliced into quarters (optional)

PROCEDURE
1.   Boil chicken in 2 cups water. Remove scum.
2.   Add garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, bay leaf and whole peppercorns. 
3.   Let boil for 30 minutes.
4.   Add vinegar. Allow to boil before stirring. 
5.   Add more water until chicken is tender.
6.   Add potatoes. 
7.   Add sugar and simmer in medium heat until sauce is thick.
8.   Relish!
