Paksiw na Isda










This dish is quite easy and tasty. So if you're looking for a quick delicious meal, this will do.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 big boneless bangus (sliced into 4 - 6 pieces)
  • 1 medium sized ginger (thinly sliced)
  • 4 cloves of garlic (crushed)
  • 2-3 long chili (green)
  • 3-4 whole tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup vinegar 
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce 
  • Pinch of ground pepper
  • Bitter gourd or ampalaya (optional)
  • Eggplant (optional)
  • Water to fill up to the level of fish

PROCEDURE
  1. In a glass casserole or stainless pot, put in all the ingredients together. Make sure that water level is just enough to cover the fish
  2. Boil for 5-7 minutes
  3. Serve
