Pork Spareribs with Coleslaw Salad

PORK SPARERIBS INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 garlic head (crushed)
- 1 K pork spareribs (sectioned)
- 1 cup of 7up or Sprite
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon calamansi juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
PROCEDURE
- Put oil in saucepan
- Saute all ingredients
- Cover and simmer for 40 minutes
COLESLAW INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups of cabbage (shredded)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 carrot (peeled and shredded)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoon pickle relish
- 2 tablespoon crushed pineapple
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
PROCEDURE
- Toss all ingredients in a bowl
- Put spareribs on one side of platter
- Put salad on another side of platter (or you may use a smaller bowl and place beside the spareribs)
